7 months

Quincy is 7 (and a half) months old! She is just over 19lbs and is 28.5 inches long. She wears 9mo all the way to 18month clothes. She is LONG.
She started sitting up a few weeks ago and prefers this all the time now. We still do some tummy time, hoping she will crawl soon but she usually just screams till I sit her up.
She is grabbing everything, drooling like crazy but still no teeth.
She eats baby food once a day, but we skip if she doesn't nurse well. She's a great eater, but gets distracted from nursing VERY easily.
She goes to bed around 7, goes down SUPER easy (thank you, DOCKATOT), wakes up 2-3 times to eat (I know, yikes!) and sleeps till 7-7:30. I know it's hard to believe, but I DO NOT mind one bit nursing her at night. Maybe just cause I know she's my last baby to nurse so I actually kind of enjoy it. I will truly be sad when she starts sleeping all night!
She takes 3 naps a day 1-2.5 hours.

She is always happy, unless she's tired. She loves watching big brother and sister. She's very snuggly, loves to giggle and talk, and just loves being a part of what's going on. Leave the girl in the other room, and she will let you hear about it!

3.5ish months for Q ball

I'm going to go ahead and give an update on Q girl since I am taking her to the doc this afternoon and I'm currently thinking about it! I'll likely forget or not have time when it comes to her 4month update.

I suspected she had her first ear infection. She has been ever so slightly congested with no runny nose for about 3 weeks. She is such a content little lady that taking her to the doc, honestly, has not even occurred to me until recently her night time sleep has been BAD. Up most of the night, nursing all the time. She is just happy as a lark during the day tho. So this morning it dawned on me that Blakely would get ear infections and have no symptoms other than fussiness. Doc said she has fluid behind one ear but doesn't look bad. So if she doesn't shape up will try an antibiotic in a few days. She is 14.5 lbs! Little porker!
And poor thing with that hair. 😂 she's just the prettiest with a bow tho.

Little miss is just as sweet and easygoing as she could possibly be. She goes to bed around 6, and is not interested AT ALL in being up any later. She nurses 3 times through the night until she is up around 6:30. I have not even attempted to hold her off any longer since she is in bed with me and I'm asleep within a minute or two of her waking me up. Maybe I should try, but I'm just too tired! Plus we are sleeping great as it is.

She has really started to warm up to Stephen and actually lets him keep her without throwing too big of a stink. He can even get her down for a nap- not sure our other two let him do that for the first year of their lives!

She rolls over front to back- almost
immediately after putting her on her tummy. So not much tummy time happens. Plus she's the 3rd baby so she's lucky if I even remember to put her on her tummy once every few days. 😳

She loves Blakely and Henry- and doesn't look quite as scared when Henry approaches. He is also really improving on the dos and donts of babies. He's still a little aggressive (think growling 2 cm from her face) and is entirely too self assured (running as fast as he can within inches of her head---"but I'm being careful, mom!")

She's turned into a pretty great napper for me during the day. She goes down super easy, usually sleeps for 30-45, talks to herself for a bit, then goes back to sleep for 30-1hr. She's a dream compared to my other two!

Still eats every 3 hours or so and is a breeze to nurse.
We do lots of snuggling cause I know she's probably my last and I know first d that they grow up too fast! (I'm about to have a kid in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!)

Literally the cheesiest grin you've ever seen after she wakes up. Lol

3 months!

Q pie turned 3 months on Christmas Day. Her first Christmas was spent sniffling from a cold and sleeping while other people opened her presents.

5 grandchildren 5 and under. All still take naps, one takes two naps, one takes 4 naps. It was difficult to find a time where everyone was awake to even take this picture! And to get everyone to smile... Not happening!

Blakey and Henry get more and more fun. They had a blast with the cousins and we made memories celebrating Jesus' birthday.

I am not sure how much Quinny girl weighs but I would guess around 13lbs. A few weeks ago she was around 12.5. She wears size 2 diapers and is wearing 6mo clothes. Smaller pants and shirts fit, but she needs 6mo length if it is a one piece.

She is awake for about an hour and then needs to start winding down for a nap. She sleeps in her "dockatot". She usually wakes up at 30 minutes on the dot. Talks for a little while, then starts fussing, and sometimes will go back to sleep, sometimes not. She takes 4 "naps" a day, but the last one (after 3:30) is usually in her carrier. She goes to bed between 6-6:30, sometimes earlier if she didn't get that last nap. And if you don't get her to bed on time she will make you PAY. Girlfriend is my LOUDEST screamer by a mile. She doesn't mess around with fussing either. She goes straight for the death scream. She sleeps from 6-6-7:30ish. She usually eats twice sometime in there.

She's my easiest nurser. She eats every 2.5-3hours. And only eats for 5-10minutes.
As you can see, she doesn't miss a meal. She is so fluffy! She has rolls that neither of my other kids ever had. #midforearmroll

She loves kicking and talking on the floor when she is awake, watching big brother and sister play, and watching tv. She is also a big snuggler!

She really is a super laid back baby, and goes with the flow of our fam. Thank goodness!
